ANTIPARAFIN 9500 - The additive modifies normal paraffin crystals, preventing the formation of a strong crystal lattice and reducing the cold filter plugging point and the pour point of the fuel.
Thanks to its dispersant component, the additive prevents paraffin precipitation in the fuel at low temperatures through an electrostatic effect.
Physico-chemical characteristics of anti-gel ANTIPARAFIN 9500
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Appearance | Light yellow to brown liquid |
| Density at 20°C, g/cm³ | Not less than 0.800 |

Recommended additive dosage:
To reach the required filterability and pour point, depending on the middle distillate characteristics, a dosage of 2 litres per 1 m³ of fuel (0.1% vol.) is usually sufficient. The minimum permissible fuel temperature when injecting the additive is 5°C above the cloud point.
Packaging: The additive is filled into 216.5 L steel drums, as well as rail tank cars or road tankers up to 63 m³. Other packaging is allowed by agreement with the customer. The filling degree of the container must not exceed 95%.
Transportation: The additive is transported in small or carload lots in covered vehicles by rail or road in accordance with the Dangerous Goods Transportation Rules applicable to the given mode of transport. Transportation in rail or road tankers equipped with bottom discharge and filling devices is allowed.
Storage: The additive is stored in metal tanks with an internal oil- and petrol-resistant, heat-resistant coating meeting electrical safety requirements. Storage temperature from +20°C to −40°C is recommended. After long storage at low temperatures, the product must be homogenised (stirred) before use.
