CHIMTEC 77 acts as a crystal modifier for high-molecular n-paraffins, thereby reducing the size of paraffin crystals.
CHIMTEC 77 is injected into middle distillates undiluted or as a solution; aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons serve as solvents for the additive.
Dosage
CHIMTEC 77 is dosed at 100 to 1000 g per tonne of middle distillate.
The actual dosage depends on the fractional composition of the middle distillate, the paraffin content and other parameters.
Before use, the additive is heated to +35–40°C and stirred. For maximum efficiency, the additive is injected into fuel at +40°C.
