Appearance Oily liquid, light yellow to brown
Density at 20°C, g/cm3     Not less than 0.900
Kinematic viscosity at 20°C, mm²/s Not more than 5
Solubility in diesel fuel Complete

Recommended additive dosage:

The recommended dosage is 500 to 2000 g per tonne of fuel (0.05–0.2% by mass).

Before use, the CHIMTEC 2008 additive is thoroughly stirred, then injected into the fuel flow or tank with thorough mixing. For maximum efficiency, the additive should be injected into fuel at +40°C.

Packaging:

The additive is filled into steam-jacketed tank containers, IBC containers and steel drums. Other packaging is allowed by agreement with the customer. The filling degree of the container must not exceed 95%.

Storage

The additive is stored in metal tanks with an internal oil- and petrol-resistant, heat-resistant coating meeting electrical safety requirements. Recommended storage temperature is 0°C to +30°C; storage from +50°C to −50°C is nevertheless acceptable. After long storage at low temperatures, the product must be homogenised (stirred) before use.
